The headlinesilty – read next by a woman discussing the high cost of viagra and the dangers of buying online.
The woman – a 25-year-old North Yorkshire man – responded with a mildly annoyed expression.
The conversation went on to say: “The price of viagra is low, so it’s not a problem. We could buy it for around £5 per tablet, which is cheaper than buying a tablet of sildenafil (Viagra) for about a year now.”
The question was: “What’s the difference?”
The answer – the vast majority of men suffering from erectile dysfunction suffer from some form of low libido (the ‘low-oine functioner’).
Erectile dysfunction is the inability to acquire or maintain an erection for sexual performance, or inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse.
There are two types of erectile dysfunction: low sexual desire and high sexual desire.
Low sexual desire refers to a men’s inability to have an erection for sex, or to have an erection sufficient for sexual activity, and is common in men over the age of 40.
The term ‘low-oine functioner’ is used to describe men who suffer from low sexual desire but do not have an erection at all. This is usually temporary.
In men with low sexual desire, erections are impotent and cannot be maintained. Erections that fail to become more frequent or longer lasting are called erectile dysfunction and can range in severity from mild erectile dysfunction to erectile dysfunction lasting for a few hours.
Erections that remain for a limited amount of time (less than 4 hours) are called sexual impotence and can be caused by a number of physical and psychological conditions.
The main symptoms of sexual impotence are not always apparent, so a man may have difficulty getting an erection or maintaining an erection that doesn’t become quite enough or becomes seriously ill, depending on several possible factors.

Withdrawal:Effects of sildenafil withdrawal:(sildenafil) and other PDE5 inhibitors have a longer duration of effect, ranging from 3 to 5 days which is equivalent to sildenafil. When sildenafil is withdrawn from the body, it is mainly due to relaxation of the arterial wall which leads to vasodilation. When sildenafil is withdrawn from the body, it is mainly due to vasodilatory effects which leads to vasodilation. The coadministration of sildenafil and PDE5 inhibitors, in patients, has a longer duration of effect than that of doxazosin.
